I was listening to the radio about a week ago and heard the radio DJ say he had a new song that he wasn't entirely sure how he felt about it but he was going to play it anyways. I decided to give it a listen and as Des can attest I'm a bit hooked to this song. The bridge is a little weird and I think unneccesary considering the overall theme I get from the song. If you don't like hip hop/rap at all don't listen to it, if you are neutral give it a listen, it'll change your life (o.k. not really, but I do think it's catchy).
I may be avoiding studying and watching YouTube videos... bad idea? Probably and yet, I only have one
left! (can I get a hallelujah?) This has been one of the best and yet most stressful semesters I have had thus far in my college career, that's saying something considering I did 22 credit hours one semester about a year ago. I am glad it's coming to a close, means only 4 more semesters until graduation, but it also means 2 seniors I loved working with shout out to Brady and Katie, (who will likely never read this) and an amazing GA Kelly (who also likely will never read this). Of course I can't forget Vinny, these 4 made my football days amazingly awesome and guaranteed me a good laugh every single day. Add Paul and Eric into the mix and you are destined to have a good time. If I feel like it, I will post some pictures from our annual ATEP Super Bowl we had today.
Quick highlights (for my benefit more than yours): Anne getting tackled by Josh (our academic advisor) *we played all classes together including administration* Mind you we were playing two hand touch not tackle. It was quite hilarious to watch.
Vinny intercepting a pass in the endzone and returning it for a touchdown (full length field) and about died afterwards.
Best quote/conversation following this epic weave and run,
"water! water! I need water!"
"Vinny, we aren't at football practice..."
"Fine, get me a diet soda"
"Right, cause that's the best recovery beverage..."
"o.k. who of you is oxygen administration certified that'll do too"
"Um.... right, let me get that out of my pocket and get on that..."
"Don't mind me while I am dying over here, you just play on without me, i'll catch up"
It was pretty much hilarious.
This next one, we found it pretty funny, others probably would just look at me and think I'm weird.
When determining if we wanted to have a rule of where to touch, *it was co-ed* one person yelled "below C7 that'll be fine", another said, "how about rib 8, if they hit rib 7 you're still free to run." "Hey, I like it, wait who will be the judge of that?"
Needless to say, we just decided 2 hands anywhere you could get, but you couldn't touch any female's chest area.
Considering that aside from Brady and Katie I didn't spend a significant amount of time with any 3rd years, I am really going to miss them, they have made this semester one of the best as stated above. I am glad I still have a few of the GAs left (they have one more year of their masters left) and of course the head trainers - they alone are amazing - the new GAs have quite the bar to live up to, but I'm excited to see what happens and the awesome memories that come next year and the year following that before I move on to my next great adventure.
Regardless of what happens, one thing is for sure, I will be livin' the good life! :)
